We all hope the new series of Spider-Man films are better than the last. The last movies were undeniable blockbusters at the box-office but it’s hard to argue for them being good films – they are certainly nowhere near the calibre of the Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight franchise. Perhaps the new look Spidey might take a page from The Caped Crusader. Check out the first official full trailer.

One of the world’s most popular characters is back on the big screen as a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy is revealed in The Amazing Spider-Man™. The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The five hour spot – yes you read correctly correctly, five hour spot – features the magnificent, exotic beauty of Adriana Lima. One might ask what in the world would the Brazilian Victoria Secret model be doing for a very reasonable five hours – waving a flag. We wouldn’t lie to you.

Russian model Irina Shayk had a ginormous 2011 and is poised to continue her reign in 2012. The famed men’s periodical grabs the Sports Illustrated model to cover their February issue. Polish-American top model Joanna Krupa is the latest beauty to let the cameras of Esquire magazine and popular Tumblr location Me In My Place into her home base for a unique behind the scenes peak. Krupa has been turning heads and as well has turing the pages of magazines for years now. At the lovely age of 32, she is looking to expand her profile in other areas, just as her younger sister – also an absolute stunner – is filing her old spot as top model. Esquire and the good people of Me In My Place do it again, make sure you check out what they came up with.

How does a pinup grow up? In the recent history of the world of men — and, uh, those competition shows — models age a lot like Joanna Krupa did these last ten years or so here. Which is to say fast (she is only 32, which can be considered “old” in that world), and which is to make the uneasy transition from lying on a beach for some of those other magazines or a while, to being partnered with Terrell Owens on some television program and then one of those “instructors” on Dancing with the Stars. And now she’s supposed to be in a movie with Lindsay Lohan during her time off from hosting the Top Model program in her native Poland. Which isn’t to say that Joanna Krupa — always-young beauty, animal lover, star of the best PETA ads of all time — isn’t as radiant or surprisingly goofy as ever. The first trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has been officially released. Peter Jackson returns to direct the adventure of young Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) who sets out on an adventure with a company of dwarves. The first trailers released are usually of the teaser kind especially this far out from release, Jackson shows off a great deal. Fans of the genre will be quite satisfied with this, while a year is a long time to wait, this provides a quality look into the wonder to come.

Photographer Chris Colls captures Australian top model Miranda Kerr in the most intimate of settings. The natural setting and styling of the series is extremely simple as it allows for the Victoria Secret model and wife of actor Orlando Bloom to do what she does best – jump out of the backdrop for skilled lens of the photographer. The collared men’s shirt draped across the shoulders of a beautiful woman is still a tantalizing look for any man and Kerr continues to prove it – yet again.

Sarah Shahi has become somewhat of a superstar across the web this past year or so. The American actress and former NFL Cheerleader with Persian roots known for her work on The L Word and Fairly Legal shows off her stunning physique in the current issue of Men’s Health. The January issue of the publication features Shahi in some rather sensuous poses as she displays her sleek body. The best thing about Mission Impossible is clearly not Tom Cruise. The good people of Hollywood have evidently tried to keep Tom Cruise semi-relevant by force-feeding the public yet another Mission Impossible movie but there is some silver lining…Paula Patton’s return. The beautiful Los Angeles born actress and wife of soul singer Robin Thicke is officially back from her pop culture hiatus after giving birth to the couple’s first child and she is returning in a big way. Not only did she recently do a phenomenal cover feature for Complex but she’s now showcased in the pages of GQ. Very few projects in the history filmmaking have attracted the level of anticipation built up by the third and final chapter of the Christopher Nolan era Batman films. The director who brought us the cult classic Memento and last year’s blockbuster Inception is looking to build on the hugely successful second Dark Knight film and leave the series on top with people craving more. The scene-stealing performance lead by the late Heath Ledger left many citing the overall film as one of the best action pictures of all-time. The third film looks to tie-up all loose ends while introducing new and every bit as memorable antagonists in Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman and Tom Hardy’s Bane.
