Snowboarding has come a long way since its inception. Previously, we tore down the mountain on our kemper without helmets, in jeans, sometimes only wearing pair of Sorels for boots. Now all the gear is meant to enhance performance and keep us safer. Still ABC decides to frame the only sport I have been able to keep in my life as a accident waiting to happen.
