Italian-born Isabeli Fontana is beautifully paired with Russian blonde bombshell, Natasha Poly, for the iconic lens of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The two beauties rock Prada to the max in spectacular fashion. This really is one of our favorite covers of the early 2012 year. Graffiti artist RETNA took to the L.A. streets for an amazing scale mural featuring his iconic style and lettering. In preparation for his upcoming show at Los Angeles’ Known Gallery with with fellow 7th letter member ZES, RETNA splashed the front wall of the LALA Gallery specifically set up for the L.A. Freewalls. The project currently appears complete but it continues to experience alterations leading up to the gallery’s official opening. Stay tuned for more information coming on the opening itself in the coming days and weeks.

We all hope the new series of Spider-Man films are better than the last. The last movies were undeniable blockbusters at the box-office but it’s hard to argue for them being good films – they are certainly nowhere near the calibre of the Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight franchise. Perhaps the new look Spidey might take a page from The Caped Crusader. Check out the first official full trailer.

One of the world’s most popular characters is back on the big screen as a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy is revealed in The Amazing Spider-Man™. The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Every pictorial that team Lindsay sets her up for of late seems to be somehow Marilyn Monroe inspired – this little set of photographs is no different, as she is seen in some traditional garb in front of iconic Mariyln photos at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. Daisy Lowe at her absolute best – wet and pressed up against glass for all of our viewing pleasure. The editorial runs with the concept as a convenient way to showcase accessories from the likes of Tiffany & Co, Cartier and Bulgari. This truly plays Daisy’s strengths and obvious assets; hair kept messy and fringed, glamour kept unpolished and hinting at the bohemian. Sometimes, when a model has a particular strength, it is best just to go with it.

Tearing up Dazed & Confused’s January cover is Rooney Mara, the breakout young actress who toughened up for the lead role of the year in David Fincher’s remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Mara tells Dazed about morphing into cyber punk Lisbeth Salander, the sexually ambiguous bad girl with a talent for computer hacking, chain smoking and fighting. Becoming anti-heroine Salandar wasn’t such a stretch Mara, told Dazed, as she’s “always been drawn to darkness”.
